Airplane Hangar

As part of my Building Information Modeling (BIM) course, this project expands upon my expertise in Revit and Enscape rendering through the design of a 20,000-square-foot airplane hangar with an integrated 6,000-square-foot office space, situated on a 1,000' x 500' site.

The primary design concept draws inspiration from the aerodynamic form of paper airplane wings, reflected in the roof structure, which creates a distinctive architectural identity. A central outdoor courtyard, visible from both the hangar and office spaces, serves as a shared gathering area that fosters interaction between the two programmatic functions.

Surrounding the facility, green spaces with trees and water features provide a welcoming environment for occupants and visitors. These landscaped areas include walking paths, seating areas, and communal spaces, encouraging engagement with the site while enhancing the overall user experience. This project demonstrates a harmonious integration of industrial functionality and thoughtful design, creating an efficient yet inviting aviation facility.
